Chrome Grabs 5% Market Share as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera Share Goes Down
Microsoft Internet Explorer lost yet another chunk of market share, and went down from 62.69% to 62.12% (0.57 point decrease).
For a third time in a row, Mozilla Firefox lost more market share, as it fell from 24.61% to 24.43% (0.18 point decrease).
Yet another huge gain for Chrome web browser; moving up, from 4.63% to 5.22%, making it a 0.59 point increase.

Chrome Overtakes Safari in Market Share Race
Well, this certainly wasn’t a big surprise. During the last month of 2009, Google Chrome (4.63% market share) became world’s 3rd most used web browser, overtaking Apple’s Safari (4.46%).
In other news, Internet Explorer market share went down from 63.62% to 62.69% (0.93 point decrease).

Opera Mini 5 Beta 2, Now with Progressive Loading
Here comes a new beta of Opera Mini 5 web browser. While fixings various bugs, Opera Mini team has also included few other new features:

What exactly progressive loading is?
As they explained: Progressive loading means that pages you load are sent to your device in ‘chunks’. Previously in Opera Mini, your page would be displayed once the entire page has reached your device. However, now your browsing experience will be faster and better, just like on your desktop.

November, 2009 – Firefox, Opera and Chrome Market Share Goes Up; IE, Safari – Down
It’s a new month and few market share data. Let’s get it going.
Just like any other month, Internet Explorer market share keeps going down, this time it fell from 64.64% to 63.62% (1.02 point decrease).
With the upcoming Firefox 3.6 release, this browser increased its market share by 0.65 point, from 24.07% to 24.72%.
