Internet Explorer 9 Developer Preview Now Available, No XP Support
Today Microsoft has released developer preview build of Internet Explorer 9 web browser. Although it does not include IE9 user interface (no tabs, no address bar), and/or never announced features, it’s equipped with new JavaScript rendering engine (codename Chakra) and hardware acceleration feature.

February, 2010 – Google Chrome, Opera Mini Share Goes Up; Firefox, Safari, Opera – Down
Time to check February browser market share results.
Internet Explorer continues its downfall saga; as market share fell from 62.12% to 61.58% (0.54 points decrease).
For a fourth month in a row, Firefox is losing its market share as well. This time it has decreased by 0.2 points, moving down from 24.43% to 24.23%.
Another month, another gain for Chrome. In February, this browser market share increased by 0.39 points, as it went up from 5.22% to 5.61%. Continue Reading

Google Will Benefit from Internet Explorer 9, Says Microsoft
Few months ago, it was announced that Internet Explorer 9 will be the first browser to use hardware accelerated graphics and text.
According to Microsoft’s senior product manager for Internet Explorer, Pete LePage, Google shall benefit from the upcoming Internet Explorer 9 release. When navigating sluggish sites, such as Google Maps, there will be a noticeable difference.
“That is, hardware graphics acceleration is going to give you better reading experiences – better fonts and an improved ability to see images and scroll through them.”
“Because we are moving all of the graphics processing to the part of the computer that is designed for it, you will get a smooth, wonderful experience.”
