Google To Developers: Start Targeting Google Chrome OnlyIt looks like the web ain’t all rainbows and sunshine as the latest document; “Future of JavaScript”, obtained from Google’s internal “JavaScript Summit” had some interesting things to say.

First of all, Google now encourages developers to start targeting Chrome only web browser when possible and is eager to implement at least some of the ECMAScript Harmony as soon as possible.

According to the same document, in case developers start focusing on all the web browsers, they will have to wait multiple years to get a direct Harmony support.

Then, few years later, Google has introduced the Chromebook, a new breed of computing for a quick Internet access.

With all the upcoming changes, it looks like Google Chrome users will soon enjoy a new tab page, borrowing elements from Opera and Maxthon web browsers.

Once again, NSS Labs, an independent security research organization, has tested top 5 five web browsers to find out, how good they are at blocking the socially engineered malware.

Has anything changed? In terms of ranking, not rally. However, Google Chrome saw a 340% or 10.2 percentage points improvement when compared to the previous report, which is definably a good news for all its users.

When downloading the latest stable version of the Adobe Flash Player, a checkbox appeared, offering me to install Google Chrome as well.

However, if you hit F5 several times, it will suggest you a different kind of software, making us wonder, how much such promotion cost for the Google (if any?).

New Chromium UI In Sight

The most recent build of Chromium, an open source web browser, has received a new UI designed specifically for tablets.

Although it’s still in an experimental stage and there is no confirmation whether we will see such UI integrated into the future versions of Google Chrome or Chrome OS, it provides an interesting glimpse of the upcoming changes.
