Google Could Kill Google Chrome Web Store Toolbars
As soon as June 2014.
In a world where the majority of toolbars are pretty useless, Google has announced a policy change for its Chrome Web Store, which marks the end of such junk.
According to Google, “toolbars that provide a broad array of functionality or entry points into services are better delivered as separate extensions, so that users can select the services they want.”, and while such policy change won’t be enforced for current extensions until June 2014, the search giant will no longer approve new toolbar submissions, as simple as that.
Google Chrome Beta For Android Brings Touch Improvements
If you’ve ever used Android and then switched to iPhone or Windows Phone, then droid’s touch responsiveness and scrolling performance is not something you will ever miss or dream about experiencing again.
Now, it looks like Google has managed to pull something neat out of its magic hat as the latest beta version of Google Chrome for Android offers significant responsiveness improvements. According to the latest report, a 300ms delay that takes place every time someone taps a portion of the screen has been since removed, which was demonstrated in the video below.

Google Plans To Port Chrome Apps To iOS & Android
Here come the hybrid apps.
It looks like Microsoft and Apple are not the only ones that think about the unification. According to the latest report, Google is working on a toolkit, which will help developers to create Chrome apps for their own Android platform as well as iOS.
The main difference between Android and Chrome apps is that later are built for the web by default and Google is using Apache Cordova (a core of PhoneGap) to accomplish their goals.

Chrome And Opera Optimize For Asm.js
Some time ago, Mozilla has revealed asm.js, a subset of JavaScript that offers tremendous performance improvements, resulting in ability to run heavy goodies like Unreal Engine 3 right in your web browser.

New Chrome For iOS To Include Autofill, Android Version Gets Other Improvements

Now here is something useful that will soon come to Chrome for iOS: Autofill. Introduced earlier this year on Android, this feature allows you to complete online forms using info pulled from other devices you’ve signed into.
What about those running Chrome on Android? The good news is that is just got even better, according to Google, it offers “some improvements to Autofill to further streamline online forms”, such as taking info from your Google Wallet and making checkout process as simple as 1, 2, 3.

Best Buy, Amazon Drops HP Chromebook 11 From Its Stores
Website too.
If you’ve been wanting to pick one of the HP Chromebooks later this month then don’t hold your breath. Why? Turns out, they were removed from the Best Buy and Amazon stores because of a number of user complaints about the overheating chargers that cause the damage.
In the meantime, HP advised not to use the original chargers that came with a product and rely on micro USB chargers instead.

After weeks and weeks of waiting, Google has recently released the very first Beta build of Chrome 32, which brings one of the widely requested (and promised features): noisy tab indicator.
What does that mean? It means that you can finally kill the annoying tab without having to go through all of them, just look at the indicator (see screenshot below) and you are good to go.

Google Fixes Chrome’s Saved Passwords Mess
Not so long time ago, we learned that anyone could access your Chrome passwords by simply typing “chrome://settings/passwords” in the URL bar.
After announcing that was done “by design”, the search giant has since listened to the community and actually did something to fix the issue. According to Google’s François Beaufort, the latest Chromium build for Mac has a new experimental flag (chrome://flags/#enable-password-manager-reauthentication), which, when enabled, will prevent people from gaining access to your passwords as they will be promoted to reauthenticate with the User Mac OS password.
