September, 2013 Mobile Market Share: Android Browser, Google Chrome – Up; Safari, Opera Mini – Down

In the month of September, Apple’s Safari web browser saw another drop in its numbers, down from 55.46% to 54.19% (1.27 point decrease).

Android Browser on the other hand continues to edge higher, up by 0.54 point, from 22.23% to 22.77%.

Just like a desktop version of Opera, Opera Mini once again saw a drop in its market share, down from 8.98% to 7.85% (1.13 point decrease).

Last of the relevant web browsers on mobile, Chrome, which market share has increased by 0.74 point, from 5.60% to 6.34%.
