Google.com to Work on Opera (Soon)

Few Opera 9.6.x users reported a nasty bug in Google.com. If search suggestion feature is enabled, apparently, “enter” button no longer works. The good news is however that a) you can turn this feature off and b) the fix is on its way.

    It’s not fixed. The issue — which only affects queries that do not match any suggestions — still persists.

    To reproduce it, type random letters into the query box on Google.com then press [enter].

    That bug really is nasty, especially if you consider how hard Google is pushing its own browser on page like Youtube. Their motivation for fixing bugs like that is apparently very low.

    yet, there is a question – why opera behaves different here than all other browsers?

    because i dont believe that google deliberately did in a way that broke opera
