With today’s release, Norwegian browser maker has included a couple of new features, such as:
– Improved Tab Management: You can now close tabs by simply swiping them up or restore them by pressing the menu button in the tab UI.
– Better File Download: Finally, users will be able to resume paused or failed downloads.
– Discovery Mode Tweaks: Now you can use swipe right and move to the next article.

Internet Explorer Developer Channel Announced
Now here’s something unexpected.
Today, Microsoft has announced the availability of the Internet Explorer Developer Channel, which aims to bring even more transparency and reveal developer features that were just finished or are about to be.
With today’s IE Dev release (for Windows 7 and 8.1), the software giant demonstrated the support for GamePad API, allowing you to control web games (assuming they have implemented this feature) with the Xbox controller.

UC Browser For Windows Phone Updated
Something special for the 2014 World Cup fans.
If you can’t live without the all the juicy details about currently ongoing World Cup then the latest UC Browser updated is something you’ll be grateful for.
So how exactly does the new 3.6 version do that? According to the changelog, Speed Dial will now give users access to the latest scores, stats, photos, videos and more from the World Cup. In addition to that, you can now save files directly to your SD card, which is a nice bonus for those that are not into football.

Microsoft Patches 59 Internet Explorer Vulnerabilities In June
IE6 to IE11.
If you are wondering how secure Internet Exporer is then look no further than at the latest report by Microsoft, which states that the software giant has already patched a total of 59 vulnerabilities in the month of June.
While only 2 out of 59 were publicly disclosed it makes us wonder: is that high number of fixed security vunerabilities a good or a bad thing?

May, 2014 Mobile Market Share: Google Chrome, Opera Mini – Up; Safari, Android Browser, Internet Explorer – Down
As always, we start with the market leader: Safari, this time its market share has decreased by 3.05 points, from 51.77% to 48.72%.
Next is Android Browser, which too experienced a drop in the numbers, from 22.56% to 21.87% (0.69 point decrease).

Opera Now Imports Browser’s Passwords & Other Data Without Your Permission
Silent mode for everything.
Recently, Opera followed other browsers and revealed a new build, which would automatically update your software to the latest version. Now, it looks like Norwegian browser maker has decided to go an extra mile and silence even more tasks, starting with the latest Developer build (23.0.1522.0), Opera will now scan your PC for other web browser installations / profiles and silently import all data (on the first run) without your permission, including: passwords, cookies, history and bookmarks.

Internet Explorer 12 To Include Substantial UI Changes
Now here‘s a hope for the human kind.
If you are still frustrated by the decade old Internet Exploder‘s UI then good news, this could very well be fixed in IE12.
Why? A feedback (Colour of Favourites Bar / Menu Bar) submited in the „Internet Explorer Feedback“ page got attention from the IE Team, which resulted in the following repsonse:
„Thanks for the feedback. We’re making substantial changes to the UI, we’ll keep this in mind.“

iOS 8: Better Facebook, Twitter App Performance Coming
Improved WebKit engine soon to be available on all apps.
When Apple revealed iOS7, it featured an improved Nitro JavaScript engine, providing with a great boost in performance for various 1st party apps. How so? Well, as it turned out, due to various restrictions, developers were left with a slower version instead.
Now, it looks like Apple has finally reversed this decision and is allowing third parties to access this very engine. What does that mean? All apps will now be able to use the improved engine, offering a boost in performance for apps like Facebook, Twitter and more.

Download Opera 22 Final
With new themes and minor fixes.
Following a bunch of releases from Google, here comes one from Opera, which is the final version of Opera 22.
So what exactly is new in this build?
Themes: Guys at Opera have introduced five fresh new themes that can be accessed through Themes section, you can now also right click on any image and use it as a theme as well.
Silent Updates: Following other web browsers, Opera will now update automatically and do so without nagging the user.
