Yahoo! Recommends Internet Explorer 8

Yahoo Interent Explorer 8

Back in August 2008, Yahoo recommended users to get Firefox 3 web browser. However, things do change as TechCrunch reports that Yahoo started to promote Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 8.

As it ways said: “Apparently, Yahoo recommends browsers based on what their latest business alliances are”.

    Just an FYI, when IE7 AND IE8 first released Yahoo! did the same thing. Then they recommended Firefox and now it’s back to IE. I think you’re reading into this a little too much.

    Anyway to get users away from IE6 and IE7 is good stuff by me!

    IE8 is blissful heaven to write for compared to IE6 and IE7. It actually behaves like a proper browser.
