By | July 1, 2009

Folks from GottaBeMobile.com have demoed a touch scrolling feature on IE8, Firefox 3.5 and Chrome 2 web browsers. With Firefox 3.5 release, Chrome was the only one struggling with this task.

really? Is this all windows 7 is good for? Bloatware and visual effects i never pay attention to? Who cares about touch screen scrolling, Aero, and all that other junk I want an os that performs great and is super stable. Why not focus on security huh? Why not focus on something important? Instead I get crap like media center, aero, iconized taskbars that take up space. Remember the days when a Windows OS could fit on a CD? Windows 2000 was only about 450MB and did everything I wanted. But now the entire OS is 2.73 F****** GIGz!
Why?? Why so much crap? Im not even letting Windows 7 touch my PC till n-lite comes out with a version for it. That way I can cut out all the bull microsoft puts into their OS. Remember Vista and its 2.56G of crap for just basic? Im running my n-lited version thats only 580MB. Runs Fantastic and still very stable. That means their about 2G worth of garbage on that OS. Microsoft cant make a secure OS but can sit there and worry about window flipping and and scrolling in a browser? Their new trademark should read: Windows – what you should close before installing this OS, cuz this one really blows!

calm down, half of what youve just said is emotional hyperbole, another half is just ‘i dont like it’.

dont do then, but keep that to yourself if you dont have anything else to say – like, ‘why’ or ‘what to do instead’

win7 is GREAT at performance, partly BECAUSE of ‘that areo crap’, that allows entire desktop to be kept in graphic card memory, thus DRASTICALLY reducing page-file use. go and educate yourself, please.

Who cares how big it is? OS’s are going to get bigger. Deal with it.
