Firefox 3.5 Hits 5 Million Downloads Mark
Written by Vygantas Lipskas on July 1, 2009

Almost 24 hours ago, the final version of Firefox 3.5 web browser has been released. The good news, it has been downloaded more than 5 million times already and number keeps growing!
If you haven’t tried this version yet, you can download it here.

I have always been a great fan of Firefox. The main reason for sticking to Firefox is “Addons”…..You need anything and you will get an addon for that. But recently I tested Chrome 2 . I was really impressed with the speed of Chrome. Now if google starts building addons also…then probably Firefox will definitely loose the race as there is a significant difference in the speed of the two softwares.
Firefox offers me all I need and more AND it’s much faster than Chrome, Opera and Safari.
I’ve tried all three so I really know what I’m talking about!
None of them results as fast as Firefox 3.5 at least regarding the sites I need.
Keep up the good work Mozilla and I’ll be looking forward to FF 3.6!!!
