After numerous builds (over 50) and release candidates, the team behind classic Opera web browser has just pushed the very first beta of Vivaldi.
While there are many new features and improvements, the most important fix, at least for Windows 10 users, is the actual ability to run the web browser without relying on command line tricks.
As far as usability features go, there are just too many of them!
For example, technical preview 4 alone brought startup options, UI zoom, task manager, pinned tabs, color schemes and more.

Microsoft Details Upcoming Edge Features
The price of a browser reboot.
During the Twitter Q&A session, Microsoft has revealed some of the planned features that haven’t been included yet.
So what exactly can we expect?
– Password, bookmark, tabs and other data sync, which they promised in a “future update”, meaning it could be either before or after it RTMs
– Importing favorites from other web browsers
– Private tabs? Coming too
– And yes, even a status bar is coming in a future update

Microsoft Board Sued By A Shareholder
EU fine is the reason.
Back in 2013, Microsoft was fined ($732 million) by the European Union for mismanaging the browser ballot screen, which was missing due to a „technical error“.
Now, one of the Microsoft shareholders, Kim Barovic, is suing the board for this very reason, as well as for an insuffiicnet investigation where the software giant was asked to find out how that mistake has occured and take action agaist the offenders.
