Opera Doesn’t Respect Users (aka Lost Vision)?
Some time ago there were some Mozilla bashing regarding users tracking and disrespect. Well, today I’d like to criticize Opera Software a bit.

Google Custom Search – Opera Issues?
According to Tamar Weinberg from Search Engine Roundtable:
“After much frustration with Google’s Custom Search Engine, it seems that Google’s CSE doesn’t actually support the Opera web browser. Apparently, when Opera users try to set up the Google custom search engine, they fill in all forms, hit save, but nothing happens.” Continue Reading
Official Yahoo! Response to Opera and Google Mobile Search Deal
Some time ago Opera and Google made a mobile search deal (read more about it here). Haavard from my.opera.com found Yahoo! response to this deal on news.yahoo.com

Google and Opera in Partnership (Mobile)
Google was and still is a default search engine in Opera web browser for about 7 years. Today Opera Software announced that since March 1, 2008, Google will be set as a default search engine in their mobile products as well, Opera Mini and Opera Mobile.
Before Google and Opera mobile search partnership, default search engine was set to Yahoo! Search and some time ago Google was removed at all. Continue Reading
