Safari 3.1.2 for Windows was just released which fixes few security issues.
Viewing a maliciously crafted BMP or GIF image may lead to information disclosure
Saving untrusted files to the Windows desktop may lead to the execution of arbitrary code
Visiting a malicious website which is in a trusted Internet Explorer zone may lead to the automatic execution of arbitrary code
Visiting a maliciously crafted website may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution
It’s always recommended to use the latest stable version of any web browser, especially when we are talking about security updates.
Download Safari 3.1.2 for Windows.

44MB! For a browser! No thanks, I think I’ll stick to Opera (4.75MB – classic installer version).
It’s 18.7 MB if downloading without a QuickTime. Still more than Opera though.
I noticed a layout issue on css3.info selectors test, when the test is running, the left upper side of the screen is messed temporary with something.
Also on one my site the layout was broken for a while but after some checking with other browser and switched back the page with safari the problem gone, very strange. Both these with 3.1.2
i really don’t think that safari can stand in the war between windows browsers in case of Windows OS .
plus 15.6 Mb is a bit too much .
