Google Chrome May Soon Become The Most Popular Mobile Web Browser

By | September 18, 2015

Now here is an interesting prediction that could become true before we enter into the 2016. We have been doing browser market share reports for more than 8 years’ now and it looks like the most recent data from NetApplications indicates that Google Chrome could soon overtake Safari and become the #1 web browser.

Assuming the trend continues (with a minor bump for Safari’s market share due to the new hardware release), we are looking at the November – December timeframe.

What’s your take on this? Do you see that happening?

It’s s shame, because Chrome is a bad mobile browser, yes, it supports all kinds of stuff, but doesn’t have extensions, some people want to block ads and they can’t. If only all those people knew that UC browser, Firefox and a few more can block ads on mobile, Chrome will become the least used browser.

If you have a rooted device, you will never see an ad on your phone again… Just instal a HOSTS manager adblock and boom, they’re all gone. In browsers and all other software.
