Google Announces Chromecast

Works on PC, Android and iOS.

In one of the most boring events ever, Google has revealed Chromecast, a streaming device for your TV, which allows you to quickly share your content from your PC, tablet or a smartphone.

How does it work? Simply plug it in and click on the Chromecast icon (as seen in the screenshot above) to select the device you want to stream to.

In addition to that, only the most important details will be shared (note the absence of the URL bar) and while it remains to be seen whether or not it requires a new version of Google Chrome (which wasn’t announced yet), we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
