Firefox 3 Seeks for a World Record. Will They Make It?

Firefox 3 Seeks for a World RecordGuys from Spread Firefox with all your help will be trying to set a new Guinness world record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours period. As this is a first attempt (this record doesn’t exist in a Guinness book yet), they will try to reach the highest number possible.

How can you join?

Just download Firefox 3 on a release day. It’s all very simple. You can find bit more details at Spread Firefox Download Day 2008 page.

  1. Well, it sort of irks me that I’m not automatically included by beta testing and getting the release version and all that.
    I signed up, as I support them, and now I’m going to get stupid newsletters about Firefox 3, despite the fact that I’m following it closely already.

    You can always register using a plus-adress and just blacklist that specific recipient so it doesn’t bother you. I did that.

    Šitą naujieną radau kitam puslapyje ir vakar užsiregistravau. Vaizdas toks, kad pradės temti kol susirinks tam tikras vartotojų galinčių atsisiųsti šią versiją kiekis. Dar aišku jiems reiktu pagalvoti, kada išleisti naują versiją. Savaitgali neapsimoka, nes tada jie praranda bent vieną vartotoją, t.y. mane :)
