Crazy Rumors: Internet Explorer Might Come To AndroidCan it be true?

With the recent reveal of Office or iPad and Android, it looks like there is a new (and absolutely crazy) rumor in town (which comes from unverified source via Twitter): Microsoft is porting Internet Explorer for Android.

While at first glance it does not seem realistic, one might wonder if the software giant has decided to spread even more of their services across different platforms rather than making them MS exclusive, which was the case with Xbox Live Games (some of them are now on iOS and Android), Office, etc.

We can certainly imagine a world where a person uses a Windows PC with Internet Explorer 11 and the Android phone, allowing him or her to quickly sync data and continue the surfing.

What do you think?

We’re waiting eagerly NOT to install it on android (because Puffin is awesome), but it’s not a big surprise, I’ve just installed Office Mobile for android, although I’m going to uninstall it soon :-)

  2. I have Opera for Android, I uninstalled Firefox for Android because I didn’t use it, I would uninstall Chrome if I could.

Uninstalling Chrome was always a dream of mine, finally I managed to root my Galaxy Mega yesterday, and uninstalled so many useless default apps including Google Chrome, the feeling was lovely!
