2014 Chromebook Models Announced

2014 Chromebook Models AnnouncedNothing high end yet.

During yesterday’s event in San Francisco, Intel, Google and OEMs (Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, LG and Toshiba) have announced a new lineup of Chromebooks, in shapes, sizes and colors.

ASUS will be releasing two new laptops: the ASUS C200 Chromebook (11-inch) and ASUS C300 Chromebook (13-inch) that are set to replace their currently the number one laptop on Amazon.

Lenovo too have revealed two models: N20p Chromebook and Thinkpad YOGA 11e Chromebook where both of them that have a 300 degree rotating touchscreen and are set for general availability sometime in June – August.

    Ive never understood the appeal of a chromebook. I mean its not even a real laptop. What can you possibly do on it except use the web? How this hardware is being invested in and moving units is beyond me.
