Skyfire, the fastest growing downloadable mobile web browser in North America has just received an upgrade. Apparently, 1 million users milestone was one of the reasons behind 1.0 launch. With a solid version number, the following release focuses on user control over the content. As a result, Skyfire 1.0 brings improved navigation, faster launch, zooming and interaction, also a new search functionality.

Earlier this month developers were looking for a few testers which would be able to play with Skyfire Alpha on Blackberry.
TBGR has posted a couple of leaked Skyfire for BlackBerry screenshots for you to check.
As the post reports: Our ninja described the very early alpha software as “already being the best BlackBerry browser ever.”

Skyfire 0.9 Beta Released, Time to Socialize
New version of Skyfire mobile browser has been released today for both, Windows Mobile and Symbian.
There are quite a lot of noticeable changes in this release. For instance, Skyfire startup page now includes feeds, Facebook and Twitter integration which will surely help you to get all the latest news as well as catch up with your friends.

Skyfire – Free Mobile Web Browser
Here’s a new app for you to try: Skyfire. It’s a free mobile web browser (currently works on Windows Mobile 5 and 6 only, Symbian support coming soon). As they’ve said in the demo video: “Skyfire is the only product that brings you the pc experience into your mobile phone”. And in case you thought about Opera Mobile… No, they haven’t included it on that video.
