See Epic’s Unreal Engine 4 Running In Firefox

Forget about plugins.

After the recent announcement, it looks like Mozilla and Epic Games are finally ready to deliver and have since posted a video, which shows Unreal Engine 4 (Epic’s Soul and Swing Ninja demos) running in Firefox.

As stated in the blog post, since the Epic Citadel demo, which was running on Unreal Engine 3, in less than 12 months, they were able to increase the performance of Web applications using asm.js from 40% to within 67% of native, and you should expect it to get even faster.
