As I can see Firefox is gradually replaced by Chrome in my country, India. Even these days I reco Chrome over Opera. Latest v12.11 of Opera is a big mess!

      Fanboy .
      Its smooth.
Yes some pages don’t load properly.
But is faster than firefox, and more stable, even faster than firefox 18, and hardware acceleration and webgl is disabled by default. It blocks more non wanted advertising, and I’m not talking with extensions.
The only major issue in Opera is the print system. It sucks.
I always use beta versions and i have no crashes at all. Before complain do a clean install.

Try this web site with Chrome and Firefox. Then try with opera.

You know you have a shitty webpage when people’s Core i5s and i7s have to wait for 20 seconds for the tab to close… Yes, Opera is a bit faster than Chrome on that page, what does that prove ?

Whenever someone mentions Chrome, the Opera crowd rages a bit. I mean, use whatever the heck you’re comfortable with and stop trying to force your choice on others.

It’s easy to show ONE page where your beloved Opera is strong… Look, I can do that with Chrome as well. Try http://helloracer.com/webgl/ in Chrome and Opera and tell us which browser really sucks.

Yeah sure seems like almost every time I download anything I have to be careful I don’t install bloody Chrome as well.

its sad, cuz normal people dont really care what browser they use, they just want a painless experience

years ago, when i was into stuff like this i constantly switched between browsers, fiddled with settings, but in the end it just doesnt work out

i really like firefox and opera, but they are giving me so much headaches, now im using chrome, even though i dont like it, but its working just fine

Chrome and FF is always good if you open few tabs, Opera strength is amount of tabs and windows it can open and remain stable. Also note that Opera have 64 bit version while both Chrome and FF do not have it yet. I got weird scoll problem in latest snapshot Opera which is really annoying apart from that it is good.
If a browser has $$$$ to advertise they can make their browser very popular.

    • Opera is faster than that american spyware!! °¬°

I just keep Opera and Firefox and IE open at the same time, and have pages that work best in those open in each. I don’t trust Chrome.
