Written by Vygantas Lipskas on April 10, 2008
Opera Software today announced that Opera Mini mobile web browser for mobile phones is now available on Google Android.
What is Android?
Android is a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications.
Although there are no devices which are running Google Android yet, you can still try it yourself. As it says in labs.opera.com (click here to read more) page:
1. Download and install latest version of Android SDK
2. Obtain the Opera Mini for Android package
3. Once you have installed the Android SDK, start the Android emulator that comes with it (this can be found at {Android home}/tools/emulator
4. Transfer and install the Opera Mini package into the emulator – you can do this with the following command line input – {Android home}/tools/adb install OperaMini.apk
