Disgusting. A public, state-funded institution suggesting proprietary software.
They should at least be recommending Chromium or Firefox.

    • Firefox

      This.

Windows is proprietary software too, what difference would the browser make? At least they’re not enforcing IE usage, which is a good thing.

I would rather use IE than Chrome.

I prefer integrated IE before big (more than 100MB) and spy (GoogleUpdate) product buyed by Google with Apple core.

        And Windows doesn’t phone home?

I assume that these Chrome instances won’t be signed in to anyones account, and even if a member of public does the history won’t be kept because as soon as the user logs off and a new user logs on it’s like a fresh account. That’s how my library does it.

Pretty sure a geek employee put that on the tables, just that.
