March, 2014 Desktop Market Share: Google Chrome, Safari – Up; Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera – Down

Kicking things off with Internet Explorer, Microsoft’s web browser has lost some of the market share, down from 58.19% to 57.96% (0.23 point decrease).

Following IE is Google Chrome, which is up by 0.68 point, from 16.84% to 17.52%.

Nothing new for Firefox, down again, from 17.68% to 17.26% (0.42 point decrease).

A small win for Safari this time as Apple’s web browser has managed to bump its numbers bb a 0.01 point, from 5.67% to 5.68%.

Lastly, Opera, down by 0.03 point from 1.23% to 1.20%.
