HP Chromebook 14 Announced

$299 meets beautiful colors.

If Acer’s 11.6 inch package is too small for you daily needs then HP’s 14 incher could very well solve your dilemma.

Minus the now expected Haswell CPU and 1,366 x 768 display resolution, HP Chromebook 14 comes in three different colors (and they do look spectacular): Snow White, Ocean Turquoise and Coral Peach. In addition to that, it packs solid battery improvements that will keep it running for up to 9.5 hours.

There’s also a 16GB hard drive, two USB ports, HD webcac, an SD card slot and a HDMI port. As far as dimensions and weight go, HP Chromebook 14 is 0.81-inch thin and weighs 4.08 pounds, a lot more than Acer. But then again, you get a bigger display in return so think carefully.

Unbelievable how far Chromebooks have come from such a rough start. Kudos to HP for a great-looking device.
