Google Instant Now Works In Opera

According to Opera, Google Instant, a search enhancement in the Google search engine that offers faster searches, smarter predictions, and instant results, now works in Opera as well. No tricks such as masking are required to make it work as was previously the case.

To test it, simply go to Google and begin searching. Opera asks any users who were masking as Firefox to remove the masking so as to attain as much feedback as possible on this new implementation.

    Finally, Google support Opera. I also noticed that Yahoo!Mail also started working fine with Opera Browser without any tip & tricks.!!
    Kudoos to the person whoever made this happened!!

    So nobody else is having issues with this? I use Windows 7, Linux, and Mac and all my Opera installs not only don’t have Google Instant but regular searches don’t work properly now either.

    Works fine for me you have to opt in to get Google Instant .
    On the Google search page click on the cog top right & choose search settings

      When Google Instant is enabled it does not work for me and screws up regular search. When I disable Instant everything works fine again. This happen s on all my installs on all OS.

        Depends what version you are using I guess. Try to update browser.js manually. Clear cookies an cache.

    But the image search interface is still the old one!! so I still need masking…
    . Also facebook is working bad lately for me.

    I am really tired of this things, instead on focusing on speed dial, speed dial extensions, ¿unite? ¿widgets?… they should work on web compatibility
