Google Chrome 27 vs. Firefox 22 vs. Opera 15 vs. Internet Explorer 10New web browser benchmark results are here.

With fresh releases from almost every company, guys at TomsHardware did a series of tests on their Windows 8 machine to find out exactly, which browser should you chose if you are not tied to a specific UI or add-ons that are exclusive to one ecosystem.

Although Internet Explorer 11 is missing from action, we expect to see updated results fairly soon.

Conclusion

And here you have it, guys. Firefox is back and it’s a winner. However, TH notes that while Google Chrome 27 lead in almost every category, it was Chrome’s inability to render pages properly and launch on time, that caused it to lose against Firefox when all results were summed up.

And let’s be honest, all web browser are pretty good right now so just chose whichever you like the most. Okay, maybe IE10 is not exactly marvels but with Internet Explorer 11 just around the corner, our point stands. As far as Opera 12 goes, it’s dead anyway.

Firefox is copying Chrome at every turn. I hope they all crash in a fiery slope of doom and despair. I’m going to stop updating by Firefox 24 because of all the stupid idiotic moron changes.

Just be thankful you’re not using Opera. :P

I think we can all tell from your completely baseless and totally nonsensical statement that the only idiot here is you.

funny because almost every browser copied firefox at first. Even if Firefox was copying Chrome, they’re just doing the same. let alone the fact that every company copies each other.

There’s an ESR (extended support release) release with FFX24, so you’ll probably be able to keep FFX 24 for a long time until it’s unsupported.
Also, you’ll probably have to keep FFX since other browsers will still be worse after Firefox 25 release, and all old features will be brought back in an addon (someone already made one, but didn’t release it yet)

Rofl @ this. I have every major browser on my machine. It’s not even close, Opera 15 starts within 2 seconds. Every other browser is slower to start.
