Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 Delayed

By | January 15, 2009

Mozilla has recently announced that due to many remaining bugs still unfixed, they are going to delay Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 release for a week.

Instead of releasing it on Jan 26th, it will be launched on Feb 2nd.

The upcoming beta release is supposed to be the last beta for Firefox 3.1 series.

This has taken ages. They should really consider naming it Firefox 3.5 instead of 3.1!

    Good news!
More time = less bugs to deal with later.

More time for development means better product at the end.

I have been using Firefox 3.1 beta2 since december and it works very well. Why to delay so much? It is very fast and reliable. The private mode works fine. Perhaps Mozilla is adding new functionalities?.
