FirefoxFirefox team just can’t stop working. Recently they have released a very first September nightly build. Firefox 3 Pre-Alpha 8, 1 Sep 2007. Let’s check the changelog.

  • [Firefox:Password Manager]- replace modal pre-submit save password dialog with post-submit bar [All]
  • [Core:Installer: XPInstall Engine]- Blocked XPI install should have allow once feature [All]
  • [Firefox:Places]-live bookmarks should only refresh when browser is active [All]
  • [Core:History: Session]-[FIX] Restore events may not be revoked when a new load happens [All]
  • [Firefox:Menus]-Tools menu leaks Clear Private Data label [Mac]
  • [Firefox:Phishing Protection]- let malware checking block page loads [All]
  • [Firefox:Places]-the location bar dropdown should show a star next to bookmarked results [All]
  • [Firefox:Places]-Add favicons on recently closed tabs list [All]
  • [Core:Networking: HTTP]- prefetch- related leak loading firefox google start page [All]
  • [Core:SVG]-Improve filter architecture [All]
  • [Firefox:Extension/Theme Manager]- Restart button in Installation tab remains grayed out after an update of multiple extensions [Win]
  • [Core:DOM: Events]-Crash [@ PresShell: :ResizeReflow] with onbeforecut removing element, iframe and position: fixed [Win]
  • [Firefox:Location Bar and Autocomplete]- double clicking the url in the location bar looks like it places the text in the X selection but doesn’t [Lin]
  • [Firefox:Places]-Star icon shouldn’t be set for items in RSS / Live Bookmarks. [All]
  • [Firefox:Preferences]-Security pref pane’s last groupbox is partially cutoff [All]
  • [Core:SVG]-Enum mapping for marker incorrect [Lin]

  • [Firefox:Places]-bookmarks menu dnd indicator not visible if I want to drop an item before a separator [Win]
  • [Other Applications:Reporter]- Reporter should move away from SOAP (Reporter fails to send reports on trunk) [All]
  • [Firefox:Download Manager]- Downloads no longer remember last download directory - always defaults to Downloads [Win]
  • [Firefox:Location Bar and Autocomplete]- Location bar autocomplete hangs after first character is typed; regardless of speed of character input [Win]
