Firefox 3.7 Receives Windows 7 Jumplist Support

With the upcoming Windows 7 release, developers are working hard to take an advantage of new OS features such as jumplist. Some time ago, Google has implemented the following feature into its Chrome web browser, and now, the latest Firefox build on Mozilla’s Tryserver includes Windows 7 Jumplist support as well.

As you can see from the screenshot, users will be able to quickly access their most frequent visited web pages and open new tab and/or window easily.

Try Firefox 3.7 with Jumplist Support.

    Hi Vygantas Lipskas,
I’ve downloaded and installed Firefox 3.7 with Jumplist Support. No changes comparing with the usual Minefield. Is this new feature only operative on Windows 7?

    Many thanks for your answer!
    Best regards,

Yes, Jumplists are Windows 7 only. I would love to see this feature in Opera…

But even if Opera supported this feature, it won’t work outside Windows 7….

You can have previews on Minefield (Firefox 3.7a1pre)changing the “browser.allTabs.previews”from false to true. I think it’s possible on Namoroka (Firefox 3.6pre)too, but I’m not sure.
