Download Maxthon 3.1.7.1000The newest version of Maxthon has been released! Find below some of the new features and improvements that come with this update:

  • Supported importing favorites from Chrome and Firefox.
  • Supported skin developers customizing drop-down list of Address Bar.
  • Increased the startup speed and the fluency of page viewing.
  • Enhanced the logic of data syncing.
  • Supported HTML 5 feature: drag & drop to upload files in Skydrive and add attachments in Gmail.
  • Increased Webkit startup speed.
  • Added interface customization menu which supported customizing Tool Bar/Side Bar buttons and the browser’s interface.
  • Optimized CPU usage in Ultra Mode.
  • Increased the favorites menu first time popup speed.

    Old news; there’s a 3.1.8.600 beta now.

    Would have said this sooner if there wasn’t any signing in issues.

    You can find the latest beta here: http://forum.maxthon.com/viewthread.php?tid=80908&extra=&page=1

    Also the download link of Maxthon 3 should be changed to http://www.maxthon.com/mx3/ and as there is a Preview Releases section, the latest beta versions of Maxthon too could be put there (maybe the related Maxthon forum URL). Just a suggestion.
