By | March 1, 2008 | 5 Comments

Internet Explorer 8 IE8Not so long to wait. Microsoft expects to release Internet Explorer 8 Beta after Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP 1). They’ve promised to release a beta version of IE 8 till June. But we all know how Microsoft changes most of their software release dates, so maybe July? With the “leaked Internet Explorer 8 features”, it is also know that IE8 will be compatible with Windows Vista and Windows XP. However, due technical differences, some additional security features will work on Windows Vista only.

Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) Preview and New Features

By | February 13, 2008 | 4 Comments

Internet Explorer 8 IE8The upcoming Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) new features will be soon announced at MIX 08 (Microsoft Conference, held from March 5 – March 7, 2008). Although we can’t expect all the new features to be revealed, as Internet Explorer 8 is currently in alpha stage only, it will be interesting to see them anyway. If you are reading FavBrowser.com blog some time already, you have had a change to check a list of “Leaked Internet Explorer 8” features which didn’t impress me at all. As they will be doing a preview of IE8 as well, I just hope that it won’t crash (like most of the Microsoft products) :-) Continue Reading

Internet Explorer Remove Click to ActivateInternet Explorer news… I am sure you do know that annoying “Click to Activate” “feature”. Good news, Microsoft had finally licensed the technologies from Eolas, and that means… Yes, no more “Click to Activate”. However, you will have to wait a bit. The first preview release which is called “Internet Explorer Automatic Component Activation Preview” will be released in December. You can expect it in the next Windows Service Packs (Vista SP1 and XP SP3) pre-releases as well. Finally, it will be integrated directly into IE in April 2008.

Eh… So Much Of Those Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) Leaked Features

By | July 30, 2007 | 5 Comments

Eh… When I got information about leaked Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) features, I thought there will be some interesting stuff to read… But I was wrong.

So what are those Internet Explorer 8 “BIG leaked” features? Undo close tab and sessions… Oh come on, it took you 1 year to develop that? Was it hard? We are already using all those “features”.

Dear Microsoft, if you will keep “adding/stealing” those “features”, wouldn’t it be better for you just don’t waste your time, burn Internet Explorer 8 project docs and pretend that they even didn’t existed, cause that is what’s going to happen sooner or later.

They will never change.
