Internet Explorer 8 IE8Not so long to wait. Microsoft expects to release Internet Explorer 8 Beta after Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP 1). They’ve promised to release a beta version of IE 8 till June. But we all know how Microsoft changes most of their software release dates, so maybe July? With the “leaked Internet Explorer 8 features”, it is also know that IE8 will be compatible with Windows Vista and Windows XP. However, due technical differences, some additional security features will work on Windows Vista only.

Google and Opera in Partnership (Mobile)

Google, OperaGoogle was and still is a default search engine in Opera web browser for about 7 years. Today Opera Software announced that since March 1, 2008, Google will be set as a default search engine in their mobile products as well, Opera Mini and Opera Mobile.

Opera DragonflyDavid Storey from Opera team recently blogged about something called “Opera Dragonfly”. While no one knows what it is, Opera team keeps teasing everyone (like they always do). Here’s a quote from David Storey blog post:

So what exactly is Opera Dragonfly? I won’t say quite yet, but I do think that, in my opinion, it is the most important project we have on going at the moment, and probably since I’ve been at the company.
