Phishing and Malware Protection Comes to Camino
Starting from August 11th, nightly builds of Camino web browser now includes integrated phishing and malware protection.
The following feature is based on Google Safe Browsing service which is being used by Firefox, Chrome and Safari web browsers as well.
As for their competitors, Opera is using Netcraft, PhishTank and Haute Secure services while Internet Explorer has its own SmartScreen Filter.
Camino 1.6.8 Released
The latest Camino version 1.6.8 has been released to address a couple of bugs as well as improve user experience with improved ad blocking and updated Gecko rendering engine.

Camino 1.6.4 Released
A new version of Camino web browser is now released. The following release includes few changes such as improved-asblocking and Mozilla Gecko rendering engine upgrade.

Camino again displays expiration dates for Certificate Authorities in the Certificates window.
Camino no longer reads OmniWeb’s “password not saved” markers in the Keychain as valid accounts.

Camino 1.6 Beta 4 Released
Just a few days ago, Camino 1.6 Beta 3 was released. Why there’s Camino Beta 4 already? It seems that there were a few more bugs which caused often crashing. One of them appeared when user clicked SELECT and another one when opening Privacy preferences. This build fixes both of them.
