August, 2014 Mobile Market Share: Safari, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer – Up; Android Browser, Opera Mini – Down

Another month, another report.

Kicking things of with the usual: Apple’s Safari, which regained some of the lost market share, up from 44.83% to 45.07% (0.24 point increase).

Next is Android Browser, which is still consolidating around the 20% mark, down from 21.96% to 20.61% (1.35 point decrease).

After crossing the 20% mark on desktop, Chrome on mobile is about to do the very same thing too, up from 18.03% to 19.66% (1.63 point increase).

As far as Opera Mini goes, its market share has decreased by 0.47 point, from 8.43% to 7.96%.

Lastly, Internet Explorer, which managed to up its numbers by 0.2 point, from 2.50% to 2.70%.
