The interesting thing is that it will work no matter what it is. Or it won’t. People will use it or they won’t, and that will depend solely on their marketing campaign.

I mean, it’s not like they’re going to pull a Vista on the OS. It’s Linux after all.

That idea of “Web apps only” sounds really stupid for me. It will me nothing more than simple stupid smartphone or something like that. Computer is not only browser.

it is like express gate on my motherboard.. small aspirine linux distro that boots up in 2 seconds that has firefox, skype and few other tools. nothing really new.

thats a pity, because i’m not part of the sheep flock that only do, what google is talking about in this movie, so for me chrome os is not like yoda said. i hoped it would be something more.

truth is, that browser IS important, and that stuff can mostly be done on the internet, but to go sa far as to remove user right to OWN his data (and privacy) and to claim that he is nothing more than mindless browser user with no real hobbies/duties? browser that doesnt let its users participate in this world is a goner.

it is a pitty that people now form a mass that does more or less nothing besides spamming meaningless twitter babble and buying stuff they dont need..
