Web Browsers Security Test

By | June 27, 2008

Web Browsers Security TestTime for yet another web browsers security article. So there’s a test called “Browser Security Test” which I found today and decided to run it on the latest stable web browsers releases. What about results?

Firefox 2.0.14 – All Passed
Firefox 3.0 – All Passed

Safari 3.1.2 – All Passed

Opera 9.27 – All Passed
Opera 9.50 – All Passed

Internet Explorer 7 – All Passed

As you can see, all browsers passed security tests (even IE7). So the question is: if you are testing for a failure and no one fails… Is this a major fail (useless test) or success?
