If you don’t feel like watching the video, then here is a conclusion for you: what happens when you add the 1.2GHz Exynos CPU and 1GB of RAM to a cell phone (Samsung Galaxy S II)? It destroys the competition, that is all.

Its not browser is fast, its the processor that is fast.

  4. Nobody says:

i have s2 and ip4, havent had other two (verizon is so usa-only), but s2 is simply amazingly fast

you can install firefox on it, and it is so fast, that even heavy firefox is snappy and responses brinliantly

only problem is that flash doesnt work in firefox (yet it works no problem in webkit based browsers, not only default one), but who stops one from switching for default browser for few minutes

what is really outstanding with s2 is its battery life – no joking here – it lasts for solid 3 days of extreme usage and it has replacable battery, so a full week of no-limits use without a plug (battery cover could be a little less flimsy and more solid next time – it is the only thing in this phone that fells cheap [and i mean cheap])

as me is me, some opera laughter – what is the point of lite-mode browsers on devices such as this or honeycomb tablets (have one of them as well – even adobe air works perfectly!)

    • Wow, that sounds impressive.

Did you get it with contract? What’s the price?

I can’t seem to find any pricing yet (Google Shopping).

most of my phones/gadgets are presents/tech samples/test devices that ive got from one or other of my company’ partners, so no, i do not know how much these cost unfortunatelly. given how market now looks, and that s2 is THE best phone right now – id guess at 600E off contract. i do not believe that these will be subsidized much, it is highest end device now.

if you will ever have a chance to get it – get it. no other phone (except ip4 if you are into apple) can even stand next to it and not look funny in the process.

oh btw – the camera on this thing (8mp) is outstanding and can record fullHD with 30fps no problem.

ps – look for it as i9100, it is the model name
