“Stable” Google Chrome for Mac OS X Released

Today Google has released yet another build of its Chrome web browser for Mac OS X. While final version should be ready by the end of this year, Gizmodo reports, that this release is quite solid and worth a try.
Google itself describes those releases as lacking certain privacy features and not appropriate for general consumer use.

New Apple Safari Vulnerability Discovered

Guy Brian has discovered a new Safari vulnerability which affects Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) users who haven’t changed default feed reader preferences.
This vulnerability allows phishing sites to silently read all the user data from hard drive without him knowing that.

One of the shareware web browsers for Mac OS X has just received an update which includes new version of WebKit, few bug fixes and minor interface changes.
What’s new in this release?
WebKit
This release is primarily an update to the version of WebKit in use by OmniWeb. OmniWeb is now based on the same WebKit in use by Safari 3.1. This includes the latest security patches and features included with Safari 3.1.x such as downloadable fonts, CSS Animation, HTML 5 media tags and client side database storage. Read more

Camino 1.6.3 Released

Camino 1.6.3 web browser for Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later is now released. This release contains the following improvements over the version 1.6.2:
Upgraded to version 1.8.1.16 of the Mozilla Gecko rendering engine, which includes several critical security and stability fixes.

The web browser for Mac OS X, built on Mozilla’s Gecko rendering engine, Camino 1.6 is now released. The new version now features automatic software updates, improved tabbed browsing, improved search toolbar, changed user interface and a bit more.
