Internet Explorer 9 RC Launching Soon
Good news, Microsoft has just sent out invitations to media press, inviting them to join an Internet Explorer 9 event on February 10th.
Members from the Internet Explorer team (and some special guests) will be visiting San Francisco in two weeks to share some important news. I know it’s an extremely busy news week already, but we’re hoping you can join us.
Just a few more weeks to go.
IE9 RC User Interface Changes
It looks like the upcoming Internet Explorer 9 RC build will feature some user interface changes.
Russian website has had their hands on the build numbered 9.00.8073.6010 (WIN7_IE9_Partner.110113-2300) and made a comparison against IE9 Beta.
Result?
Sharper edges, some color changes and various tweaks.

RC coming in early 2011.
With the continuous web browser advertisements all over the web, Microsoft has announced that since the launch of Internet Explorer 9 Beta on the 15th of September, it has already been downloaded more than 20 million times.
Furthermore, according to the report, IE9 is already used by 0.46% of Internet users worldwide.

All right, it’s time to check the browsers market share stats for the last month of 2011 that is December.
Internet Explorer continues to fall and is now approaching 50% level, dropping from 58.44% to 57.08% (1.36 point decrease).
Firefox the first time in 3 months, Firefox has increased its market share by 0.05 point, from 22.76% to 22.81%.
