Google Tracks Safari Users Through A Loophole
If you are a sort of person who is very sensitive about privacy, then Safari is not exactly the perfect browser to use, at least was.
While Safari prevents the third party cookies to be stored on devices or computers, a recently discovered loophole, which Google did use, allowed the search giant to store cookies for up to 24 hours.
How did it work? Turns out, if user was signed in to Google+ social network and agreed to see +1 on ads (a feature, which allows people to indicate that they liked the ad), Safari would store the cookie, enabling easy tracking for the search giant.

German Government Recommends Google Chrome
Das ist gut.
BSI (Bundesamt fuer Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik), Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security, which has a habit of issuing software recommendations, has picked Google Chrome as the most secure web browser.
Complimenting various Chrome’s features, such as: silent update (which also updates Adobe Flash Player), BSI officials also stated that other web browsers are behind in this area, “This sandbox protection is implemented most consistently in Chrome…and similar mechanisms in other browsers are currently either weaker or non-existent”

Firefox To Ditch C++ In Favor Of Rust
If everything goes according to the plan, Rust, Mozilla’s experimental programming language that has been in development since 2006, could slowly replace C++, which is currently used by the open source organization.
Just like Google’s Go programming language, Rust syntax is similar to that of C and C++ and destined to provide memory safety, greater security and good concurrency support.
