Browser Head to Head: Chrome vs. Firefox vs. Flock
December 2, 2008 by Vygantas Lipskas · 24 Comments
An article on 3 web browsers: Firefox, Google Chrome and Flock. Safari and Opera were left behind.
There were few interesting comments on that article though. For example:
“Opera hasn’t changed, there’s nothing new or exciting, nothing to talk about. People don’t ignore Opera, they just don’t really care about it.”
While this is not 100% correct, I actually find it true when viewing all the “browser war” and/or web development related articles around the web.

After yesterdays post about web browsers memory usage, Morbus provided a great link to Sam’s post which contains graphs and more detailed information. Here’s a conclusion from that link:
Safari 3.1
Safari on Windows shows extremely poor memory management, and I do not know whether it ever reaches a high water mark. If this is by design, it is certainly a design that looks inefficient and seems to contradict Apple’s marketing. Read more

There’s an interesting article on CNET called “What’s the best beta? IE 8 vs. Opera 9.5 vs. Safari vs. Firefox 3“.
The following article covers the latest beta versions of most popular web browsers (Internet Explorer (IE), Firefox, Safari and Opera (also got a few words about Flock as well)), their recently introduced features and improvements.
Although I’ve missed some conclusions, it’s still worth a read. What’s your conclusion?
