Skyfire – Free Mobile Web Browser

By | April 26, 2008

SkyfireHere’s a new app for you to try: Skyfire. It’s a free mobile web browser (currently works on Windows Mobile 5 and 6 only, Symbian support coming soon). As they’ve said in the demo video: “Skyfire is the only product that brings you the pc experience into your mobile phone”. And in case you thought about Opera Mobile… No, they haven’t included it on that video. If you are interested in it, feel free to sign up for Beta 2 (U.S. mobile phone number is required) or check more details here.

I signed up for the Skyfire beta on January 29, the 2nd day. I still have not received my invite. They keep saying that it’s on a first signed up basis so according to that logic, they’re still on day 1. They better get their act together if they really want to succeed.
