Opera Software Cheese Slicer Review

If you haven’t heard about Opera Software yet, it’s a cheese slicer manufacturer, based in Oslo, Norway.

As you might know, they sent us a pack full of goodies. Being a good fellow as I am, I have decided to review one of their products: a cheese slicer.

Opera Software Cheese Slicer Review

Lets begin with… cheese slicing

Test passed.

In our second test, we tried to slice a much bigger piece of cheese. Everything went better than expected.

Furthermore, we have found other slicer uses. With Opera slicer, you can also create a beautiful butter ball or two.

It is also a great appliance for everyday use, for instance: holding things or even book pages marking.

Durability test. Let’s just stop here.

Overall, it’s a great cheese slicer with more than hundred different uses, considering our paid price ($0.00), we couldn’t be happier.

Excellent and well-balanced review! Does this device come with built-in browsing capabilities as well?
Also, why does it have their old logo?

  6. Uhm, nice one, can it run Opera Mobile, or only Mini ?

on a serious note – swedish and norwegian cheese slicers are amongst the best ive ever used

no french, american or any other can compete. i do not know why, but i own one swedish one for 15 years and it still is sharp enough to not tear even the softest cheese

    btw – great post :)

The dutch make the best cheese slicers.  They also make the best cheeses.  Funny how that works.

<unofficial official statement>”We are not ready to go out with a release date as of now.” </unofficial official statement>
    Awesome review!

  11. Trygve Lie says:

But how fast is it???? And how many cheeses does it support?

    • Alexei says:

Chances are, it is the fastest on the market, judging by their other not as major as this cheese  slicer products. If cheese compatibility is an issue, you can always mask it as a cheese slicer of one of its competitors :D

  12. ntzphyr says:

Americans don’t need cheese slicers, our fine cheeses are pre-sliced  :D~

  13. Anyone who has never used a cheese board cutter really needs get one. I recommend a marble board so it keeps the cheese cooler for longer. It makes perfect slices which goes great with any food.
