Opera: How to Prevent Flash from LoadingDo you want to load Flash videos (or other plugins) only after you mouse click on them? Here is how, go to:

Preferences > Advanced > Content and check “Enable plug-ins only on demand”.

P.S. This method will only work in Opera 11 Alpha and above.

    This is Operas equivillant of FlashBlock.

    It’s also not new, it’s been around in the Opera:config settings for a while, it’s just now exposed as a UI preference.

    Actually it was working before, but to enable it you had to use opera:config

    This ‘feature’ was already present since version 9 (or earlier), just that they finally decided to move it from the opera:config page to somewhere more visible.
