Why not FF3?
There is the case of “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” but really, we aren’t fixing anything here. An upgrade is entirely different from a fix.
It’s like comparing Win2000 to WinXP.
Nothing wrong with 2000, but networking and presenting is made alot easier in XP.

In Norway this campaign have been realy big. It started with Finn.no but now allmost all the major websites in norway have the same add for IE6 users.

I have a small site, and I had another one before, and in both I put a similar box. In addition, when I was designing them, if a certain feature wouldn’t work, I’d just say “whatever” and don’t care about IE6 users.

They are hurting US, web developers and every other web user out there, so EVERYONE who doesn’t use IE6 should turn against them.

It is broke if look at how Microsoft uses IE to control the web and to block other non IE browsers from getting the full version of a site. At least IE 8 will be standards compliant.

This is very strange that people still use such old browser that even not support tabbed interface.
Just recently I was very surprised to hear that my co-worker (programmer!) still use IE6 at home, explaining that it does a job and he is pretty satisfied with it.
