Microsoft: We Are More Secure Than Google & Mozilla

During today’s WPC 2013 Event, Kevin Turner, Chief Operating Officer at Microsoft, boasted about their achievements in the security department and compared the number of vulnerabilities versus Google and Mozilla.

The slide above is pretty self explanatory but if you are wondering where they got these statistics from, it’s from Secunia’s Vulnerability Review 2013 report, which can be requested in the following page.

Considering that Microsoft is so much bigger in scale than Mozilla and Google, it’s a pretty significant achievement if you ask us.

Bullshit, they just don’t tell the world about their vulnerabilities, which both Google and Mozilla do. Internet Explorer will ALWAYS be insecure, even if it has no bugs or flaws. As long as it’s called Internet Explorer, it’s a VIRUS.

This is a biased bullsh*t, unless they reveal other important details.

How long does it take for them to find a vulnerability?
How long does it take for them to react, if it was reported by outsiders?
How long does it take for them to fix a vulnerability?
    How serious are these vulnerabilities?
    And so on…
