May, 2014 Mobile Market Share: Google Chrome, Opera Mini – Up; Safari, Android Browser, Internet Explorer – Down

As always, we start with the market leader: Safari, this time its market share has decreased by 3.05 points, from 51.77% to 48.72%.

Next is Android Browser, which too experienced a drop in the numbers, from 22.56% to 21.87% (0.69 point decrease).

Chrome on the other hand comes out as a winner this month, increasing its market share by 1.39 point, from 14.40% to 15.79%.

Interestingly enough, Opera Mini experienced a pretty nice increase as well, up from 5.05% to 7.05% by 2 points.

Lastly, Internet Explorer, down from 2.26% to 2.11% by 0.15 point.

    I use Firefox, but I believe one can count on a lighter browser!

    UC browser HD is the best one ive found so far, it has QR code scanner, built-in flash player and the tabs actually look like tabs
