Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) Preview and New Features

By | February 13, 2008

Internet Explorer 8 IE8The upcoming Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) new features will be soon announced at MIX 08 (Microsoft Conference, held from March 5 – March 7, 2008). Although we can’t expect all the new features to be revealed, as Internet Explorer 8 is currently in alpha stage only, it will be interesting to see them anyway. If you are reading FavBrowser.com blog some time already, you have had a change to check a list of “Leaked Internet Explorer 8” features which didn’t impress me at all. As they will be doing a preview of IE8 as well, I just hope that it won’t crash (like most of the Microsoft products) :-)

Anyway, Internet Explorer 8 can be a first step towards a “real web browser”, which would finally support ACID2 and help web developers avoid some headaches.

Any ideas of what those new features will be?

Why does everyone talk bad about Microsoft when you all use it and would be lost without them. What are you using right now? MICROSOFT .

Anyway, I am excited to get the latest from Microsoft and am happy they are competing with Mozilla for fast and full featured modern browsers. I will be installing it today and learning all its new tricks and hope it can benefit me and my client computers I administer at work.
