Internet Explorer 11 To Pre-Render Search Results On BingBetter late than never.

Following Google, it looks like Microsoft too has decided to speed up the overall browsing experience and pre-render web results on its own search engine.

Thanks to a newly introduced pre-render tag (which can be used by all web developers) on Internet Explorer 11, the first search result in Bing will be loaded in the background automatically. That just only makes sense, right? According to Microsoft, they designed this technology in a way so it does not waste or bandwidth or affect device’s battery life. We are not sure how they did it but it sounds like voodoo.

Ugh, this is terrible. This is exactly why browser stats are so distorted. Chrome implemented this crap and all of a sudden, Chrome was the worlds most popular browser. I think not. I understand the desire to be insta-fast, but this is just grossly over-stepping. My browser should not be going out to any site unless I specifically ask it to. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

problem with today’s browsers is that they are all bloated and slow – having many useless features that people who never use them have to deal with if they wanna use the said program, and this goes for most of programs out there

there are small browser projects like Qupzilla and Midori, but they have other problems – like lack of development; Qupzilla feels clunky to use, while Midori just freezes and crashes on startup on my computer

ive been looking for alternatives to the common browsers, but the only things i found are bad in their own way, so what people have to do is buckle up and use either and shut the fuck up :D
